Tesla, the American hard rock band formed in Sacramento in 1981, has maintained a dynamic presence in the rock scene for over four decades. Known for blending bluesy hard rock with melodic hooks, they rose to fame with multi-platinum albums like Mechanical Resonance (1986), The Great Radio Controversy (1989), and Psychotic Supper (1991). Their acoustic live album Five Man Acoustical Jam (1990) further showcased their versatility.​

Tesla has continued to produce new music and perform live. Their latest release, the six-song EP All About Love, debuted on November 29, 2024. This EP features four versions of the title track—acoustic, electric, hybrid, and live—highlighting the band’s adaptability. It also includes a live rendition of “Walk Away,” a fan favorite from their Reel to Real, Vol. 1 collection, and a new instrumental piece titled “From the Heart,” composed by guitarist Frank Hannon.
